Jeffrey K. Tucker
Co-Chairman and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Tucker is responsible for the overall management of Century Bridge, including operations in the U.S. and China.
Prior to joining Century Bridge in 2007, Mr. Tucker was a Vice President at The Halifax Group and a Principal at Westham Capital Partners, both middle market private equity firms. Before joining The Halifax Group in 2002, Mr. Tucker was a Director at Interactive Marketplace Group, a North Carolina - based Internet incubator and venture group, as well as an Analyst with Franklin Street/Fairview Capital, an early stage private equity firm sponsored by Franklin Street Partners of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Before attending business school in 1998, Mr. Tucker served as a Professional Staff Member in the U.S. House of Representatives, Committee on Small Business, where he led oversight activities, as well as numerous legislative initiatives, primarily focusing on banking, federal contracting and taxation issues for small business. His previous experience also includes working in the City of New York’s Washington, D.C. office from 1994 to 1995, where he was involved with federal government relations for the City of New York.
Mr. Tucker is currently the Chairman of the Board of Advisors at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a past Chairman of the school’s Alumni Council. He received the school’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2001 and its Global Leadership Award in 2015. Mr. Tucker is also a member of the Board of Councilors of the EastWest Institute, a New York City - based think tank focused on promoting international dialog and conflict prevention.
Mr. Tucker earned a BBA degree in Finance in 1994 from Southern Methodist University and an MBA in 2000 from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
